3rd Annual Chili Cook- Off and Community Supper

Are you ready for Hunter River’s third annual delicious, action-packed chili cook-off? Grab an apron and prepare for battle or grab a napkin and prepare for overwhelming deliciousness. The event and community supper will happen on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Cooks can enter their chilis by signing up online via the link on the Municipal website & Facebook page or by calling the office during regular office hours. Sign up must be completed by March 2nd. Cook-off entrants will need to bring a least 8 cups of chili, hot and ready

to serve, equipment to keep it hot and a serving spoon. A chili dinner will also be prepared for all who would rather eat than cook. Vegetarian and gluten free options will be available. Admission by donation to the Dr. Kent G. Ellis Heritage Park. Prizes for the cook off will be awarded at 6:30pm. For more information contact the Municipal Office. (Storm Date – March 8th)
